Bookkeeper Quiz
This Bookkeeping Quiz is brought to you by BookkeeperList.com in cooperation
with the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers. This test was designed
by the AIPB, the USA based national association and certifying organization for
bookkeepers. For more information on the organization, please visit

800-622-0121. The questions were designed to test the skills required by an
accounting professional responsible for the books in an accrual-basis firm of up
to 100 employees.
There is a $5.00 USD charge for the test, as each test is manually marked and your results
are provided with the results via email or postal mail. This test consists of
25 questions and must be completed in one sitting, you can not stop the test and
continue later. We recommend that you take the test without any aids or
calculators in order to obtain an honest and accurate result. This test will
assess your BASIC bookkeeping knowledge in the following areas:
- Basic journal entries
- Error corrections
- Adjusting entries (accruals and deferrals)
- Bank reconciliation
- Basic accounting concepts
- Payroll
- Depreciation (book and tax)
- Merchandise inventory
You will be emailed the results of your quiz after examination of your answers
by our trained staff. We will also provide you with an official BookkeeperList
document stating your quiz results if requested. There is an additional $5.00 USD
charge for producing and mailing that document and you will be asked on the
payment page if you would like it produced.
NOTE: If you score in the TOP 5% of all completed tests, we will also list your
name on the Best of the Best page!
